Columbus Blue Jackets(604)
This is the first of two Blue Jackets concepts of the day. We have this one based off of the current alternate with a few adjustments. I love the removal of the vintage white! It gives this a vintage yet modern look! I also like the trim of the striping on both jerseys! The only thing is the fact that there are no TV numbers. I also think there should be a white collar on the home but besides that, good effort! Concept rating: 8/10
Columbus Blue Jackets(Bobby P.)
The second of two Blue Jackets concepts comes from Bobby P. and his Ideal NHL series. This is an original logo that I think is quite impressive if you ask me! I like that he went and used the current color scheme with a different logo! The star on the white jersey, just past the arm stripe just seems out of place, as the one on the blue jersey actually has place on the American flag. Everything else seems just fine! I could definitely see this on the ice! Concept Rating: 8.5/10 and a COTW nom!
Hershey Bears AHL Concept(Charles W.)

Here we have an interesting concept. The retro style of the current Hershey Bears is not my personal favorite but it does get a Hershey feel to it. I love the double brown and white scheme here as it reminds me of a great Hershey chocolate bar and that is literally the city's namesake! The logo difference is not one I like. I prefer just the bear logo. On the dark jersey, I recommend white numbers with the light brown outline. The name font is also a bit too spaced. Overall, an interesting concept that could work, especially the white jersey. Concept Rating: 7/10
Lethbridge Hurricanes WHL(Me, Coby S.)
This is a concept I made for the Lethbridge Hurricanes, which was based off of the Carolina Hurricane's alternate in part. Please go ahead and critique the concept in the comments! Thanks!
Minnesota Wild(Ryan of HJC)
Ryan has a concept for what the Wild road should've been. I agree with this concept quite a bit. I didn't like how the Wild just stylized the old road and changed up a few things, but this concept shows how I think it should've been done! I would've only used vintage white on the inside of the stripes just because vintage white doesn't really symbolize the Wild that well, but other than that, a spectacular concept! Concept Rating: 8.5/10
Dallas Stars De-Edge(Steven G.)

For the last concept of the day, we have Steven's non-edge version of the Dallas Stars. I really like this even though I already don't like the current set. The black in there is a great contrasting color to the otherwise monochrome jersey! I really think that making an edge version of this will make the perfect set for an already bad combo. Execution is great and the Texas shoulder patch is a nice flashback touch! Concept Rating: 7.5/10
I am personally just waiting for the throwbacks and alternates to come out so I can post my take on them, but besides that, there is nothing I anticipate for the upcoming few weeks. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
